Midland ER300 Emergency Solar Hand Crank AM FM Digital NOAA Weather Radio with Cree LED Flashlight and USB Charger Output

The ER300 is an AM/FM NOAA Weather Alert Crank Radio. The NOAA Weather Band receiver features all seven channels bringing you weather forecasts, alerts, and other emergency messages. When Alerts are received, an audible siren will activate. The flashlight and LCD backlight will flash on and off for one minute and the Alert is stored for one Hour. The AM/FM receiver gives access to the news to stay informed or listen to your favorite radios stations. For private listening, the ER300 has a earphone jack.

The large capacity 2000mAh Rechargeable Lithium Ion battery powers the ER300 and will give up to 25 hours in normal use. The battery may be recharged with the Solar panel, Dynamo Crank or by using the mini USB charging cable to attach to a USB Power Source. One hour of optimal sunlight on the solar panel will give up to 45 minutes of radio use time. The ER300 may also be operated with six “AA” batteries (Not Included).

The ER300 uses a Cree LED producing 130 Lumens of brightness. Select Low to conserve battery life or High for maximum brightness. The Flashlight may be used as an SOS beacon that flashes a Morse Code Distress signal. An Ultra Sonic Dog Whistle option may assist search and rescue teams during an emergency situation.

The LCD display is backlit and can show radio station, Time, or Weather Channels. The backlight option maybe set to on, off, or to automatically turn off after five seconds. The clock may be set in either a 12 or 24-hour format. The weather channel display may be set to show the weather channel frequency or the channel number.
